This game was amazing!! After beating the last level, the game had been so much fun that I stuck around to fully upgrade my units and spells, and to see which fun ways I could obliterate the earlier stages (see: fully upgraded ghost mob). Was worth it to see James absolutely ~vibrate~ at the enemy bases. Lots of cool ways you could expand this, it's very clear that there's a ton of avenues to explore with this concept, and you distilled the most important ones into this game. The little environmental art details go a long way. And the sense of scale in the 3rd stage really feels like it ups the ante a lot. There's a really good feeling that comes with upgrading a unit and watching them overcome a matchup that had been previously a deal-breaker for your attempt at a level. To top it off, art style is fun, the Necromancer's smile will haunt my dreams, and the music is killer - not much more you could ask for :)))) incredible job, can't wait to see if you take this and run with it!
