How does your game fit the theme?
Perpetual Stew emphasizes a strong game loop by repeating nights of stew making. Our core gameplay mechanics fit into the loop theme because you must repeatedly make sure your ingredients aren't escaping and you speak to regular customers. Most importantly, you want to be constantly stirring your stew in a loop-like pattern to ensure it's quality.

Super cool game! The art and audio were great. I liked how the audio sped up as you progressed through the night. Sometimes it was a bit difficult in clicking the sentient ingredients so they ended up in the fire. The different fleeing patterns added variety and made it more interesting to go through a night. When the night picked up, I focused on maintaining the stew and clicked accept on all incoming dialogue (so I didn't get a chance to read the whole dialogue). Based on the dialogue I've read during slower parts, it was humorous and had continuity. Like the sickness storyline with the maybe plague. Anyways, it was pretty fun and I enjoyed playing it.
You really cooked with this game, and by the end I felt like I was actually cooking too! Absolutely stewpendous! The music was a vibe, and it was very engaging how each of the SENTIENT ingredients had its own movement pattern to spice things up! It was perhaps too obvious which were good and bad ingredients - maybe making it more subtle by having them damaged, poisoned, or rotten (so any ingredient could be good or bad) would have kept me on my toes. I also did find it a bit difficult to read all of the dialogue when I was so busy cooking!
Interesting idea but it needs more. Like my thought would be there are 5 different things keeping your attention as you are talking to the person so you get distracted and don't notice what they are saying. Kind of like papers please but everything is happening at once and there's a time limit.
