Our coder has looked into this and might have a fix, but it seems to depend more on the specific machine you are using than the game itself. We've had several people report not being able to save, reinstalling, and then having it work, or even just restarting their computer and having it start working without uninstalling at all. I'm very sorry to hear that this issue is happening for yet another person and that we've had trouble pinning it down. Also apologies for the multi-week delay in response; I've had some health problems this summer and haven't been as present as I would like lately...
