I REALLY enjoyed the game's romance! It's light, cute, funny, and the characters are very lovable, especially Sam. The way they approach her transsexuality is very realistic and comforting! It's subtle, but it carries a weight on Sam's chest, and the way the game twists her insecurities into something sweet captivated me. But there's an important detail I didn't notice when I downloaded it...
At least for me, I started playing the game cuz it was marketed as a zombie dating sim. But it's a slice of life, and Nicole being a zombie doesn't change the plot at all. The game doesn't even explain why she's a zombie, and she supposedly doesn't smell or rot. There's also the part where Sam buys Nicole clothes, but she still wears only her old shirt and underwear, which frustrated me a bit. I don't have much to complain about the poly route; it feels more like a cute add-on than a real route, but I found it cute. My favorite character is undoubtedly Sam (she looks a lot like a friend of mine who is also trans, an aspiring pastry chef, and has literally the same concerns as her). I just found it disappointing that there was no focus on the game's premise.
