I also had a lot of trouble playing this game and didn't understand what the controls or objective is. Even referring back to this comment (which seems to be the only place the controls are listed?), it's a bit tricky to memorize and remember what to press and when before the sequence changes. I would highly suggest you write out a descripting for this game with the controls/how to play listed, and maybe add some more user-friendly UI elements to the game so the player has a better understanding of what to do, and what the controls are.
Not saying at all it's a bad concept, and I'm sure a lot of work went into it! I just can't really play it in it's current state, sadly.
