First off, thank you all so much for taking the time to play Meowsic and leave such detailed and constructive feedback, it means a lot to us!
We’ve noticed that many of you encountered similar issues, and we wanted to be fully transparent: due to a last-minute merge right before the deadline, some core gameplay values were unintentionally reset. This unfortunately slipped through our final checks and resulted in the bugs and rough edges you all picked up on.
The good news? We've already addressed these issues in our internal build, and everything is now working as originally intended! That version brings the pacing, controls, and rhythm-based mechanics much closer to our actual vision for the game.
Unfortunately, per jam rules, we can't upload the fixed version until the voting period ends. but we’d love for you to check it out once it’s live. We’re confident it’ll feel like a much more polished and fun experience!
