P/S: I know my replies are a bit overwhelming. I do have a soft spot for narrative driven game and am very critical about them.
Please take my words as a grain of salt and uses this to fuel your future game.
oh thank you so much for the detailed review, i really really really appreciate it (no one has ever reviewed it with this much detail so you know how thankful i am xd)
The game turned out the way it is because of how the time has limited my creativity, killing the wizard in various ways was the only funny thing i could come up with (although it’s just an optional quick way out, you could spin the hamster wheel faster on level 2 by pressing J repeatedly, or jumping out the window on level 3, each level has a few ways to beat, i also like my games to be comedic in a way so killing the wizard straight up was kinda funny to me lol) and i also didnt have time to focus on gameplay and polishing at the same time so i only stuck with whats important.
I will definitely take your criticism seriously and constructively for my upcoming projects or even this one if i decide to extend it. and by the way you seem to have good experience at game design and storytelling, mind if we take this somewhere else to talk more and exchange knowledge?
