Once you get the hang of it, this game is pretty fun and I can see this idea being expanded to include more powerups and enemies. I feel that the player should begin with the basic power up. If you miss the first one, you have no way to defeat enemies. I also wasn't sure if getting more of the same powerups was helping or not. Otherwise, this was pretty enjoyable to play. Loved the sudden bursts of powerups on the screen and I liked the music too. Good stuff!

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback. I agree with all of this: I don't know why I made it so you have to pick up the first powerup - it was a weird decision and I think I just ran out of time and ran with it. Powerups just sort of get bigger at the moment, which simply makes them more likely to hit enemies, so they need some work too. To be honest, I was struggling with my design (which started as a vertical shooter) until I had the idea to rip off Vampire Survivors (that happened on Saturday night, so there wasn't much time to develop it). Glad you liked the music - I love making little tracks for my games :)

I'm actually redevloping this from the ground up, now that I have something in place. Gonna have gamepad controls and so on :)
