yea this game looks really good. i am VERY impressed with the cohesiveness of the visual presentation. the low-res 3D aesthetic works very well here. ship controls feel very tight: really does handle like a dream.

very sad there is no sound. it REALLY detracts from the immersiveness of the game to not have any.

the upgrades feel a bit unbalanced too. as a game with a big timer in the bottom-left, why would I pick anything else but speed considering the enemies seem like not a big deal for 90% of the time?

felt there could be more stakes in dying as well. i was surprised to see that dying just takes you to the start of the section you were in instead of restarting the game.

I'm glad you like the visuals! I'm new to 3D modeling but its quickly becoming something I love doing. The ship controls are probably the single thing I obsessed over the most and also wasted the most time playing with between adding features haha. Glad that turned out well :)

Sorry about the music and sounds, didn't have time to figure out sounds, I was cutting it pretty close until the deadline was extended an hour. The upgrades were super rushed because by the time I had made the system work I was already exhausted.

I deliberately kept the difficulty on the low end because challenging difficulty is hard to make enjoyable without delicate thought and balancing. Yknow, don't wanna risk tarnishing first impressions and all that.

Thank you so much for reviewing the game! I hope to do a post jam patch with a bit more content, maybe <3
