Please don't blame yourself for the navigation issues at all, that's 100% on me, I broke the minimap and only managed to fix it five minutes after the submissions ended, the minimap is essential for the navigation as it's supposed to display the player position T_T Your suggestion for unique landmarks is good tho, the post-jam update will me much clearer with a bigger map and more variety in the level design.
