The character controller could use some polish (namely a 0-friction PhysicsMaterial2D to avoid sticking to walls, coyote time, jump buffering). Maybe you could make restarting not destroy the shadows too. Beyond that, though, it's quite fun! I dig the art style and narrative too. Congrats!

Funny enough, we actually had a 0-friction material at first, but I decided to add wall sticking because it opened up more creative ways to navigate levels — though I get that it might feel a bit off for some players 😅 As for shadows resetting — we felt keeping them after a restart would make the game way easier, and we wanted to keep that “flawless run” challenge vibe (though yeah, tastes vary — some prefer a more casual approach).
