Thank you very much for the honest feedback. Due to such post I can take notes and improve my skills, the main reason I joined the GMTK game jam (next to having fun of course). This game surely taught me a lot about game design and my weaknesses/strenghts, which is already a win in my book. And I will for sure join more jams after this one (and for sure take part in GMTK 2026)!
Now to your feedback:
The explosion sound is probably the worst sound in the game. It was meant to be a placeholder, since I couldn't find any other noise that I liked. This sound probably gave me tinnitus.
I totally understand that I could have communicated the dissapearance of the platforms better. I probably should learn how tweens work :D
On the box physics I also agree. Could have made a way better character controller and generally make the boxes easier to use.
And at last I also agree with the jump animation. It isn't really responsive and very cheap.
