Neat! I also crashed the game by killing the chicken before opening the gate (unsure how to open it, do I just push the key towards it?), also couldn't sacrifice things to the altar. Like I could circle it briefly, the altar would open its eye for a moment but nothing seemed to happen. Trying to tie things to the altar or killing them near it also didn't do anything. Very creative use of a loop mechanic tho! Killing stuff this way felt pretty novel.

Thanks! Unfortunately didn't expect exporting the game to break anything with the gameplay, so we didn't leave much time for eventual fixes. Little did we know, the main features would all break and I was at a scramble to rework scene loading within the last 15 minutes (didn't manage to get everything). The crash was also a side effect of these things breaking, sorry :(
A bunch of these features we didn't have time to explain (ideally would've had a better tutorial), but looping around the altar activates an additional 5x multiplier boost to every animal inside. For the Altar Offer, you had to loop all of the animals simultaneously with the altar - that was sort of your end goal, to be able to unlock the next "loop"
