What a uniquely bizarre experience—playing as a snake! Its uncanny yet fascinating movement feels radically different from controlling humans, cars, or spaceships in typical games. I bet nailing that pixel-perfect snake animation was a major pain point, so huge props for pulling it off!

As a bunny lover, my heart breaks having to eat rabbits (just kidding 😭). Was that black monstrosity inspired by spiders? It totally looks like some mutated arachnid. Regardless, I'm absolutely hooked on Life Cycle's core mechanics and pixel art—thoroughly impressed! 👍😄

Thank you SO much man! The Bark Monster was actually inspired by a glitch I had when making the snake. lol His body was stretching out weird and jerking and twitching like an antenna of an insect or something really weird. So I just copied the code and put two glitched snake bodies on a small body and colored it all brown. Then I gave him 2 procedurally animated legs but it looked kind of funny to see those HUGE horns supported by 2 little spindly legs So I gave him some more. And then I had the Bark Monster.

So long story short. He was not only not intended to have lots of legs, he wasn't even supposed to have those big horns either. He just came alive as I worked on the game.

I thank you again for your kind words and all the time you played!
