Incredible art, but it lacks a bit of depth. Something along the lines of Mortol 2 from UFO 50, where you swap between different characters, each with a unique effect upon death. You could have a bird that has a springy corpse, one with a exploding corpse, or one that becomes a floating platform. That would go a long way for variety, and you could even color coded them to the different froot loops!
Still very impressive what you have here though, good entry!
