I think the art style is great. The jump feels a bit extreme, considering the rest of the proportions, but I had quite a lot of fun with this game and you could integrate a lot of interesting mechanics into it. Keep going!
don't be surprised if you find a more completed version of this game here someday. i'm really excited to continue this project
