I cant play the steam version of the demo on my steamdeck because it has an a button prompt right when it starts and it doesnt do anything no matter how much i press the button help

Could you let us know which model of Steam Deck you're using, as well as the version of Proton? That would help us investigate the issue

I don't know what model it is, because it's my whole family's, and my Dad probably doesn't know. I can tell you what Proton version it's running, because that's something I can actually find out! Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm running Proton Experimental. I hope that's it.

There’s a thread on Steam mentioning that the game doesn’t run on certain Proton versions on Steam Deck:

We’re currently investigating the issue, but since it may be related to the game engine I’m using, there’s a chance it might not be fully fixable.
