Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback. The issues you've mentioned are totally valid, I ended only starting on Saturday afternoon so was just hammering stuff in but overall i'm pleased with how it came out.
I just thought of a quick solution for the icon not matching the model. Just have it highlight the icon when hovering over a model. Shame it's too late now
