Very cool idea. The artstyle is great. The music is a big part of the game and it is perfect it also reminded me of donkey kong country music for some reason. I think the game gets too difficult too fast and it might be because of the wacky controls. I would also add the option of using WASD. Besides that is this game very cool!

This makes me very happy as DK's 1 2 and 3 from the SNES are some of my favorite games of all time.
Oh, you mean, the control scheme? Yeah, WASD would be good.
