I played the web version on a MacBook, using a mouse. I restarted the game several times from the beginning just to make sure it wasn’t a random glitch. I walk up to a character, talk to them, and then right-click. I see a little shake effect and hear a sound, but nothing else happens visually. I’m still controlling the clown.
