This is a lot of fun! The bead mechanic allows for a ton of customization and like another commenter mentioned, the fact that more beads = longer "reload" time is a really smart way to implement drawbacks into this system. I was also impressed when I thought I was getting out of bounds, just to find another hidden bead up there haha. Although, the game lacks in difficulty currently because the enemies are not very good at hitting you. Would love to see this fleshed out further!
BTW, I noticed a bug where, after picking up a bead, its "E to interact" prompt would still pop up if you go to where the bead used to be, althought it didn't seem to give me extra beads for pressing E multiple times.
