I too, believe that we are called to treat all humans as equals, with respect and kindness.

However, because of the possible relation to LGBTQ, I feel it is also important to have the disclaimer as shown for people who share my beliefs.

I feel like maybe you don't need to put the disclaimer there, as I don't feel like people will assume you have any relation to the LGBTQIA+ community just because you are using rainbow colors in the project.

That is probably true - I had not thought of it in that light - And I do agree that it’s probably not necessary and edifies the feel of the project. It has been removed.
