I think this is one of the best spins I have seen on the circle the enemy game. Art looks great as well. I think one of the most satisfying aspects was when I sent out the quill and it looped around the enemy. For that matter I would maybe like to have a bit more control of the direction in which the quill boomerangs / circles back.

Totally hear you on the feedback about the quill control. We iterated a ton on the way that worked, and probably would have done so for another week if it wasn’t a 4-day game jam xD
I think there are probably some things we could do to give you more control as it circles back, and we might experiment with them after the jam rating period ends. You can get a decent amount of control by moving laterally and changing your aiming direction while holding down the mouse button during a throw, but it’s definitely limited (by design, but there’s some room for a middle ground for sure).
