I like the idea of the game. there is a lot to improve. I was confused by the control change in the laser room and died a few times, but that room also reminds me of a video (I think I saw it on Facebook) about an indoor game were the color of the floor room change between red and blue while you have some dedicated green squares as a save zone. if you step on the red you loose. the idea is to move across the room  without stepping on the red floor.  I will love to see how you will implement this in your game.

There's definitely some potential with the narrative, and I think a prison-themed escape room game might work very well, but I feel like there could have been more thought put into the central time-loop mechanic (especially since you seem to abandon it in lv-2??) As well as taking the time to come up with a more interesting mechanic than a simple timer.

Thank you for the feedback! We agree the time-loop concept had more potential, but with this being our first project and limited time, we couldn’t explore it fully. Really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts!

I have to say, if this is a first project, it’s taking the right steps, and is a pretty decent game, but it has many flaws.

The idea for this game is a bit generic and poorly executed. The main premise in the second room, that your controls randomly change. Why? It doesn’t add much depth and makes me confused about what you were aiming for. And, for a team of 4 people, this is a bit sad. Also, the game is short, physics are janky. I would understand if this game were made in a much shorter period.

Maybe if you guys spent more time coming up with a creative lead, improved upon artwork, then I would have probably given a higher rating.

This was indeed our first team project, so your honest critique means a lot. The shifting controls were intended to add tension and challenge the player by creating a sense of unpredictability, but we now see how it may have conflicted with the overall gameplay experience.

Given more time, we would've refined the mechanics, physics, visuals, and core hook—along with adding new levels.

Really appreciate your review, and thanks so much for playing!
