I agree with the rest about the start being kind of slow, and I see your answers about wanting to balance for end game, next jam remember you have to get the attention of the players in the shortes amount of time possible, instead of focusing on the end game make sure the start feels rewarding!

I expressed myself incorrectly about balance. Initially, everything was built around the idea that the beginning would be fast and not stressful. It was just that when the game became technically possible to complete and all that was left was to make the visuals. It turned out that the balance was completely broken - already by the middle of the game (year 15), the game became unplayable and it was possible to go to -50% faith for one missed task. It was too late to redo the entire balance (there were 1.5 days left) and it was decided to reduce the progression so that the game could at least be completed.
I will probably try to fix the balance with a patch when the jam is over.
