Really interesting concept with the soul mode.
I think the level design was fine, especially for a game jam (in regards to your comment), can definitely see a lot of potential with this as a concept you can expand on in future.
Mechanics wise some areas that could be improved on (with the remaining jam time) could be:
- preventing the player from falling to their deaths when transitioning to the next stage
- having a visible cooldown to indicate when soul mode is usable again or how long the player might have to wait.
