I actually played this game twice just to see if selling the right item to the right person would make any difference
I really liked the goofiness of the story
Tho i sadly don't see how it fits the theme...

Thank you for your review! I hope that both your playthroughs of my game were enjoyable, because I really enjoyed your game myself.
The game fits the theme because all items that you sell are in some way linked with the concept of a loop:
A 3-dimensional representation of a Tesseract is a cube within a cube, something I consider a loop (Look up tesseract animation for reference).
Infinite Staircase is a looping staircase that never finishes, looping and always going in the same direction.
Time machine allows you to go backwards in time and then wait until the present moment hits again (so a time loop).
Untouchable orb touches on (no pun intended) the concept of Xeno's paradox, an infinitely repeating pattern that gets small the closer you get to the target (so a loop).
And Ouroboros is the most obvious loop, a snake eating its own tail. What it does though is the inverse of its philosophical meaning (it lets you avoid faith because Ouroboros represents the idea of repeating the same thing over and over again).
Additionally, the world Chris is from has many looping patterns and the life that Chris lives is also essentially a loop (having to do the same thing every day over and over again).
The initial idea for this project was "a guy that goes door to door selling loops to people", so as you can see I really took the creative liberty that the jam gave me!
Hope that covers your confusion and again thanks for the review!
