Usually if you can't get a quest to trigger or get a particular character somewhere specific, you'll need to do other quests first.
If you have any other quests in your log, try those first and let me know that helped.
it just seems weird that i am at ch 10-15 on all the other characters but on caits im stuck at 2? but ill keep progressing all the other ones thanks
Proxii is correct, 8,01 broke some early game quests that were fixed in R2.
caits quests are completely broken on 0.8 if youre new, like the first cait story quest pops up an error which breaks any attempt to start part 2. you have to complete part 1 (maybe part 2) on an older version then move to 0.8
