I couldn't proceed at the section when the door opens and the figure behind it slams the door shut. For some reason this segment keeps repeating when I enter that location with the door, over and over, which I believe wasn't the case in the original. And the door ahead keeps staying locked.
But still, it seems like a pretty solid text adventure rendition of a modern classic. The only thing I wish for is just a bit more interactions and descriptions - written media is capable of evoking probably even higher sense of dread and much more tense atmosphere than audiovisual media, and it would be really great to see this idea explored at its fullest.
All around amazing project, I dig this a lot.

Hello redplanet ,
Thanks for the excellent feedback. I decided to join the JAM at the last minute and completed the entire game in under 20 hours. That explains the concise descriptions. =)
However, just before the final version, the game simply BROKEN. Cool and fun things like the flashlight in the bathroom (and the effects it generated) ended up being left out of this version. I'd rather participate with SOMETHING than not participate at all.
I'll finish the game and fix the crash after the voting period is over, and I'll be more relaxed and able to sleep (laughs).
The PT game deserves better descriptions than I did, but the fact that you're in a loop can sometimes make writing long or descriptive texts tiring, given the type of game a text-based adventure is. It's a delicate balance, thinking about 2025 =)
Thanks again for the feedback, and I'm glad to hear there's some interest in text adventures! =)
