Very creative idea! One of the best I've played so far this jam, would really like to see it in a full game.
As for a game jam game, I think you could've put some tutorial text that said "DRAG THE SHOP TO THE SLOTS" on the inventory bit, first time I played I just clicked launch without understanding what to do. Also, having some more starting resouces would've been helpful.
