Basically when asked about it my expectations have been that getting through the Election would be easier than surviving LLTQ but solving the plot that gets revealed to you at that point is probably harder, especially without hints (as far as I know only one person has gotten there so far and I did drop a hint).

Actually hostile characters will refuse to speak to you at all so you can't take them on as advisors.
