Climbing equipment can get you out of the hole just click left of the ladder.
As for the rock and stick they can be combined
I found those. Still tried the rock on the cultist. Nothin.
Safe ending is getting to the cultist without firing a shot then running away back to the car
I dunno how to get past the bear without the shot then. And when I get to the cultist and try going back it won't let me leave.
There is something i side the cabin, you just need a keen eye (and maybe a bright screen) to spot it
