Excellent implementation of the theme. Literally a cycle.

Love metroidvania games! It takes some good level design to actually pull it off, so congrats!

Pretty fun, would have loved to see more of it.

I cannot jump or swap gravity :/

Developer

Oh shoot! I'm sorry to hear that :( I'm not sure what went wrong. If you didn't pick up the bouncy boots, you won't be able to jump. If you did and it didn't work either then that's a bug on my part :/ Thanks for checking out the game though!

i really liked this

I really enjoyed my time with this one. The animation between sections was a clever touch.  The gravity swap ability was fun and it felt really nice to use to get through sections that were more difficult when only allowed to jump. I think my favorite bit was that the camera would actually move back to the spawn position when you died rather than just teleporting there.

Developer

Thank you! I was able to make the camera move back to the player because instead of reloading the scene, I just reset the player and teleported them back to the start and the camera is set to smoothly follow the player. Thanks for playing!

Loved the concept of it taking place in a space station. I liked the animation between sections of the loop.

Developer

Thank you! It's a simple animation but I am proud of how it turned out :) I thought it was necessary to show the player how they were moving through the space station. Thanks for taking the time to play!

Very cool concept. I really liked your art style and I'm a sucker for space stations ;) I found parts of it a bit tricky (I couldn't manage to figure out the invincibility action but that might just be my fault) Gameplay & controls have a really good feel. I enjoyed the double jump so I could zoom around and flip all over the place.  Nice work. Lovely game title art too. Thanks!

Feel free to try out my game, Orbital Cascade  https://sixthgear.itch.io/orbital-cascade
