I never leave comments or reviews, and I'm not yet finished with the game, but I felt compelled to write about how I am love with this game. Going in, I thought it was just going to be a bit of fun, but I certainly didn't expect the feels, and amount of depth there is in the story and it's characters.
I absolutely adore Lin. She is my favourite by far. I got so much feels when you meet the other slave owner after you take Lin clothes shopping, and you see the contrast between his slave and Lin. While his slave is loyal and obedient because of his dominance, Lin is free thinking but just as loyal and obedient, and eager to make you happy, because of the relationship you built with her. I dunno, man, something about that just gets to me.
My second favourite is probably Ashley. I didn't really like her at first. She was fun, yeah, but I found her self-centered attitude annoying. But I liked her more as I learned more about her backstory, and you come to understand why she is how she is. And that last scene when you complete her story where she's talking her to past self... my God, I never expected these sort of games would make me cry.
My only minor complaint is I wish you had a bit more interaction in certain scenes. For example, early in the game whenever Ashley is being a bitch to Lin, I would like have the option to tell Ashley to stop or speak to Lin afterwards. Or right near the beginning when Lin comes to your room and asks to wash your clothes, and you strip in front of her, I felt that came a bit out of nowhere, and wasn't something I would have chosen to do.
Apart from that, I have no complaints. Thank you for this wonderful game!
