I really like this idea but I think the execution of the minigames themselves are a mixed bag. I liked the roll of the dice minigame, I didn't like the scanning one (it's also too confusing the be the first one, but I guess that's how the years lined up), and I thought the other four minigames were decent. I think the game could be improved by introducing the base mechanics first, then introducing all the spin-off minigames once the player has learned them. The learning curve is very steep with that 2019 minigame at the beginning.

Cool idea, and I'm excited to see what you think of in the future if you keep doing game jams.
