Sorry, but I got stuck and couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do.
I assume that I was meant to remove the obstacle in the dark area to go up the stairs; but I couldn't find anything in the dark that I could interact with.
I guessing that I was supposed to bring the plant from the first area; but I couldn't go through the door while holding it.

Thank you for playing! Sorry to hear you got stuck. You can pick up the sprouts in the first room to place near the mushrooms to prevent them from growing at night. I didn't have time to put in a tutorial so sorry if that was unclear. Thank you again for playing!

No problem. Tutorials are tricky in a game jam.
There's the time required to make them; but you can also go too far
I've played games in this jam where a big tutorial bogged everything down too much.
It's tricky to get the right balance of "show don't tell" and "tell me how this works!".
