Funny enough, it was possible early on to jump with w, but it caused a bug where you could super jump accidentally - we were already so swamped with tasks that we put off that fix off for after the jam.
Ahh, that makes sense. My game has something similar, where if you press all of the "jump" buttons at once it gives you a larger jump.
