I liked the setting and the mechanics a lot. I had a hard time actually progressing, even after playing almost 10 min. Only managed to die with a blue soul once, so maybe it's worth to tweaking the difficulty. Nice work!

Thanks for playing! Yeah it can take up to half an hour for a new player. You can use the souls strategically, like if you're on the right path you can leave them just before junctions then you'll have full health to explore the next area, or you can leave them just after a junction to see if that was the right way to go.
