I think it's unavoidable, but depending on your choices it goes back to stable pretty quickly afterwards. I choice to talk it through with D and the brief unstable period didn't seem to impact the relationship at all.
I notice this as well, I got too worried too fast. I saw that it didnt take long at all for it to go back to stable, but it just worried me so as soon as I got it lol
