Thanks a lot for playing the game and writing a review! I'm glad to hear you were able to finish the game. I can understand what you're saying about the balloon, but I'm glad it didn't break the experience overall. The small collectible items don't do anything (I had some scoring and challenge ideas but didn't have enough time to polish them). I added them to guide the player and to try and add a bit of a challenge for some people.
