Bug report (I think): experiment notes

Before the boar group encounter at the stairs, stats for "A#*l" for the run reached 23 (I grinded on purpose, ok?); after the encounter, it was reset to 10. After boss fight, it is 9. I transfered the datacrystal to Chapter 2 and it showed the same stats.

I do receive error notices ever time I open the game, that "Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of NW.js." I don't know if it's relevant.

I'm not sure if this occured after the update -- I vaguelly remember there was something not right in earlier versions, but it was years ago and I didn't pay enough attention at the time.

Edit: toss me a screen-grab of what your datacrystal.js file looks like if you can. catbox.moe works fine.

The profile thing is annoying but can be ignored, it's some stupid thing that gets stuck in certain systems because of the shitty way NW works.

I'll have to take a look at the rest of it. I'm...not even sure what A#*I even is, that doesn't ring any bells. So there's three separate issues here: does the file written have sensical fields, are the numbers being tracked right internally, and are they being written correctly?

Sorry it's 'Anal'.

As you can see, TimesAnal ended up at '9' after the boss encounter.

Ah, you were trying to self-censor, my brain didn't recognize that for some reason, sorry. Will check and see what I get.Looks like it's being written correctly and with all the right fields though, which is good, saves an enormous amount of work. Just means math isn't being done right somewhere.

Edit: Found the first problem. Had an = rather than a += when updating the anal count for the bathroom scene after losing to the stair guards. IE, I was SETTING it to a random number, not adding to the total as I should have been.

Winning the boss fight in normal mode does appear to transfer the correct amount for anal to the datacrystal file. Did you fight the slutmode version?

Alright, think I've got it. There were multiple places where I kept doing a set instead of an inc for anal. They SHOULD all be fixed now. Will have an updated version up before too long here. Thanks for the report (and kind of shocked no one noticed this before, this is an OLD bug.)
