I like the risk/reward of getting close to the center to try increase your points as fast as possible while dodging the kraken spawn. Managed to get a high score of 2800 over a few runs.
The controls feel really responsive. Reacting to dodge a rock last second is very doable and feels great. The music fits the gameplay too!
Only downside I found was some runs start with a rock in your face that is overly difficult to dodge.
