have you tried starting the game with "CompatibilityLauncher.bat"?
if that still doesn't work, please do the following steps:
- With the File Explorer on the folder with the game files, on the top where the path is, type: cmd
- This should open the windows terminal on the folder.
Then inside it type: .\ModificationApp.exe
Let me know what shows up in the terminal when the game crashes
