great game! very satisfying and interesting. The way the character controls and the game in general is really weighty which I love, so aiming and dodging actually required a lot of skill and feels realistic. I like the inventory system and wall building a lot, although in my opinion building a wall takes waaaaayy too many boards for how many you can gather per tree. I think it would be more balanced if maybe 2x as many planks came from a log? that would also incentivise carrying around logs to chop later which I think would be cool. Overall I was really pleasantly surprised by a dev I didn't recognise. Keep it up!

I want to agree with big bread about the AI cover though. In most game jams including this one it's a really bad look. better to have no cover or a simple cover than an AI one. It gives the impression of low effort (even thought this game is clearly not!)

Thanks, that wood idea is really helpful as I didn't know how to make carrying things balanced while keeping the inventory system, so I'll most likely add that. By the way There are 3 enemies in the game and I'm not sure how many people are seeing them. how many of the 3 enemy types did you see? I can't change the game until it gets unlocked, but I have made replacements for everything now. I was able to change the front cover on itch, I think it looks nice

I only ended up seeing zombies, But I'll come back to play more once I've played more entries. I'm interested to see the other 2 based on the screenshots. I played for quite a while so unfortunately that might be all the enemies the average player encounters before they rate the game

I guess things will get found as the days go on. the other enemies use procedural animation. Though I'm glad the screenshots are working the way I wanted.
