Finally finished this incredible game!
I absolutely loved the presentation, atmosphere and story.
A few things I would have liked to see included:
- A map with marked objectives or at least re-iteration from NPC's of which area I was supposed to be going to to further the story. I understand maps can be problematic to implement and even ruin some of the exploration - so just more direct instructions from NPC's. Maybe even just an Objective list in the pause menu instructing which area to go to (or just a decent hint) would have solved that issue.
- The wall kick I sometimes found really temperamental, but that could have just been my (lack of) skill. Some of the precision platforming levels were frustrating.
- When activating a switch it would have been great to know what it was activating. It was the red that turned green switches I had the hardest time with as I didn't know how many there were, and what they opened. I am not sure if panning to what it was activating would have been hard to include.
- The first area of the aqueduct level was incredibly hard - where you had had to drop down, shoot target and jump, cross to the right, shoot the other target, etc. I found that to be the most difficult stage in the entire game and I think I died over 100 times in that first section.
All that being said, this is an absolute masterpiece and it is obvious a lot of thought, passion and talent went into creating it. Thank you so much for developing it!
