Hi,
It's not update related, rather the nature of cheats thenselves.
Those can be divided into 2 categories:
- stat-altering - those change your stats like money, stamina, time, Cha/Int/Dex etc., once enabled they are permanent for that save file (if you reload before activating cheats or start new game, all will be normal)
- gameplay - like 4-eyes don't come at night, less flies spawning etc. are game time specific, if you close and relaunch the game, those will be inactive, they aren't connexted with the save file.
As for recent updates, when dev released 0.3 after 0.2.2.8, all save files have become incompatible with 0.3, so you'll have to start a new game either way.
