Yes the spells damaging the player is intentional. For the spikes spell, you can walk in-between them without taking damage because they only have a hitbox at their base, but I should've made it more clear
Oh! Sorry, I was pretty tired last night. In that case, very cool game!! I wasn't sure if it was intentional or not, and in that case I think that's a very cool spin on the vampire survivors genre edit: also oh- I see it now in your description of the game: "Game where your own spells can hurt you"
