Really charming game! I love the concept of picking a “challenge” at the start, it adds a lot of replayability and ties in perfectly with the theme. The art and UI were clear and clean, and the little details like Alfred’s jump when leveling up were a nice touch.
That said, I did feel a bit lost at the beginning. A short tutorial or some visual cues to guide the player on where to go or what to do first would go a long way, especially for players unfamiliar with turn-based systems. But in a way, the initial confusion did make the feeling of isolation on the island more immersive.
Overall, great work, would love to see this expanded post-jam!
