Thank you for pointing this out! I have fixed it in V0.3.2
I am having an odd bug where the story mode is being treated as if i am in endless mode.
The bug was encountered via entering the endless mode then exiting the game. I have it downloaded it thru the Itch launcher.
Just not my night pc before you ask
