Worst case, could just change what the relationships are called.i.e. Give a prompt that lets the player type in whatever they want (with the default being "landlady", "tenant", and "roommate"). Or just throw "step" at the front of everything.

I've seen games where you can input the relationship, as well as games where you can set ages, banned as well.
